主要研究, 和大多数大学一样, is comprised of units with varying amounts of experience and/or resources for activities like proposal preparation.   That variation creates a mix of expectations about how and when an investigator interacts with 赞助项目管理 (SPA) staff to submit a proposal.

Some pointers that apply to all proposal submissions:

• Check in with your Grant and 合同管理员 (GCA) well ahead of the deadline to confirm the step-by-step process for submission to the particular sponsor, including registration requirements, 如果有任何.
• Be sure to leave time before the sponsor's deadline to deal with the inevitable "glitches" that will arise.
